Come join us to visit and see the new three floor addition to the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem Massachusetts. We will start with a private tour. After the tour, you will be able to enjoy the museum on your own. We will finish the museum visit at 12:30. We will have lunch (which is included in the price) at the historical Hawthorne Inn with a choice of one of four menu selections. We will return to Wells High School approximately at 4:00.Limit of 10 people.
Come join us for an adventure in exploring the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens. Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens is a people’s garden, a grassroots effort that began as a casual conversation between friends and evolved into the largest botanical garden in New England. Lunch is available at the Kitchen Garden Café, at the Market on-site or bring your own lunch. The Fryeburg Fair is Maine’s Largest agricultural fair and one of the best blue ribbon fair in the United States. Woodsmen's Field Day is for men and women from all over the U.S. who compete in over 27 woods-related events. Bucksaw, standing block, the axe throw, tree felling, crosscut, springboard, we have it all. Events run all day with winners and awards given out regularly and also at the closing of the day, typically around 5 p.m. Be sure to join us at Woodmen's Field Day. You're going to love it! Please enroll early. For a complete list of events, go to www.fryeburgfair.org. THERE IS AN ADDMISSION FEE INTO THE FAIR on top of the $27. ($15. for over 65) transportaion fee. The fair grounds will NOT be renting wheelchairs, walkers, or strollers this year.
The Hammond Castle Museum in Gloucester Mass. was built between 1926-1929. It was the home of John Hays Hammond, an inventor that held 400 patents. The home which was built by Hammond consists of medieval and renaissance artifacts. The trip leaves Wells High School on October 21 at 8:30 am, we will tour the castle and stop for lunch at the Blue Marlin in Essex. We will return back to Wells High School at approximately 3:00p.m. Price for the trip is $52.00 per person that includes entry into the museum and lunch. This trip is limited to 10 people.

Castle In The Clouds in Ipswich Mass. was built by Richard Crane Junior in 1928 as a summer residence. It is a 59 room mansion , with incredible views of the ocean. It was designed by the famous architect from Chicago David Adler. Richard Crane was in the plumbing and manufacturing business. This trip leaves Wells High School at 8:30. We will tour the mansion and grounds and stop for lunch and return to Wells High School by approximately 3:00p.m. The cost of the trip includes entry to the mansion and lunch. The price is $52.00 per person, the trip is limited to 10 people.

During the day, many activities and events include a draft horse show, sheep show, Ox powder puff, flower show, horse racing, and many exhibits. Please bring your appetite, because there are many different selections to enjoy. Admission and transportation are included in the cost. There are a maximum of 10 participants for this trip. We will meet at Wells High School at 8:00 by the Athletic Center. Please enroll early.
