Yoga Nidra literally means “yogic sleep”. This ancient technique uses guided meditations to bring you into deep states of conscious relaxation. Yoga Nidra is an effective method for relieving stress; easing anxiety. It is a systematic practice of moving awareness from our external world to the inner world; allowing the body and; mind to restore, rest, heal deeply. Yoga Nidra is done lying down in stillness while the instructor guides you. Please arrive on ZOOM with a yoga mat, chair, water bottle, comfortable clothing, pillow, and blanket for a restorative experience you will delight in. CLASS WILL BE VIA ZOOM

"Weekday Wake-UP with Mimi" is an on-going class that you register & pay for on a monthly basis.  This essential class lays the foundation for peace, focus & calm in your day.  According to the American Psychological Association, "creating & following a morning routine will lower stress, depression & anxiety levels. Life satisfaction begins to expand and your "to-do" list feels less daunting".

Class format includes conscious breathing, meditation, Qi-Gong & energy exercises.   Various themes are presented each month.  ie; brain health, tracing meridians, radiant circuits, eye care, healthy heart, etc.

There are 20 different muscles involved in hip flexibility. Too  much sitting puts pressure on the low back. Tight hips have  a direct impact on knees and low back. We start in simple  positions, use breath work for deep relaxation and progress as range increases. Flexibility is key in enhancing your  overall daily function. The class is designed for anyone to  participate, no matter what your skill level is, no experience  necessary. Please bring a soft pillow or yoga block to class.

This intermediate class will explore the vast variety of yoga poses based in Anusara yoga. Anusara is a modern form  of Hatha yoga that is heart-focused and alignment-based.  Hatha yoga means the yoga of force. Please bring a mat,  block, strap and blanket to class.
