Let’s Talk About Mental Health

with Suzanne Fox

Free
Class is canceled

Mental illness is that silent elephant in the room that no one wants to talk about but everyone should. ‘Let's Talk About It: Mental Health” ’ provides a safe and interactive space to learn more about mental health and what we as community members can do to reduce the stigma that surrounds the topic. We’re proud to offer this course, which is designed to help community members develop useful skills for talking to young adults about mental health in safe and productive ways.

The course will be divided into three distinct modules with plenty of time for discussion and reflection.

 ●        Module One: Talk Saves Lives: (this is the AFSP’s important program that helps people recognize the signs for suicide prevention)

●        Module Two:  Facing Stigma: Creating Solutions,  a dialogue and discussion on how to reduce stigma using the photos from YTP’s  “I Am More: Facing Stigma” photo exhibit
